The Horses Behind the Legacy

For decades, horses carrying the MHF name have represented the dedication, athleticism, and proven bloodlines of Mandolynn Hill Farms. Here are a few of the horses that have helped shape our legacy.

Sudden Mischief

Homebred racing excellence

Bred by Mandolynn Hill Farms, Sudden Mischief became one of the defining racehorses of the MHF program. The grey stallion was by Jolly By Golly and out of Ms Benz, a daughter of the influential Polish-bred racing sire Wiking. He compiled an outstanding record of 15 wins, five seconds, and one third from 24 starts, earning $111,476. His career included victory in the ARAC Juvenile, a runner-up finish in the Grade 1 Drinkers of the Wind Derby, and an exceptional streak of nine consecutive victories in California during 2005. That remarkable season earned him the 2005 Darley Award for Older Horse and recognition as ARAC Horse of the Year—a lasting testament to the racing ability produced by the MHF breeding program.

Chndaka

International racing bloodlines and sire influence

Chndaka brought internationally proven French racing bloodlines to Mandolynn Hill Farms. Foaled in France in 1990, the dark bay stallion was by the renowned Dormane, a son of Manganate, and out of Malika Fontenay, by Medicq Allah. Racing from ages three through seven in France, the United Arab Emirates, and England, Chndaka recorded eight victories and 19 placings from 29 starts, with career earnings of approximately $153,920. His most notable triumph came in the prestigious Al Nahyan International Stakes, where he defeated accomplished competitors Darike and Makzan. Following his international racing career, Chndaka became an influential sire whose offspring included stakes performers in several countries, extending his impact from the racetrack into generations of Arabian breeding.
